Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was a German-born physicist who developed the theory of relativity. He is considered the most influential physicist of the 20th century.
The four papers he submitted In 1905 on the photoelectric effect, Brownian motion, special relativity, and the equivalence of matter and energy would alter the course of modern physics.
In November, 1915, Einstein completed the general theory of relativity, which he considered his masterpiece.

Einstein’s preconceived ideas about space, time and gravitation were the product of an incredibly perceptive physical intuition that was the genius of Albert Einstein. The power and depth of Einstein’s contribution is perhaps matched only by that of Newton and of Aristotle. Einstein’s merging of geometry and physics spans the centuries – a sophisticated synthesis of Pythagoras and Newton, and a still more fundamental grasp of the basic order in the Universe.
